6. Dean Ambrose

As big as Baron Corbin is, and as gruff an exterior as he possesses, we have never seen the former Arizona Cardinal compete in an extended brawl. Sure, him and Samoa Joe wreaked havoc around ringside, but The Lone Wolf has concentrated almost solely on his in-ring game and becoming the best he could between the ropes.

A feud with Dean Ambrose, WWE's resident loose canon, would almost assuredly create an opportunity for the physical big man to showcase what type of fighter he could be. Ambrose thrives in Street Fights, Falls Count Anywhere matches and other weapons-filled mayhem. He is, essentially, Malice In Plunderland. We have seen it countless times in wars with Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar.

The feud with The Lunatic Fringe would be key to Corbin's success in WWE because, so often, major rivalries culminate in chaotic bouts that utilize any number of weapons around ringside. Failure to deliver in those settings is not only a strike against the performer, it is also damns the feud to an unsatisfying conclusion, the worst possible outcome. Sticking Corbin in the ring with an accomplished brawler like Ambrose would not only help him learn in that environment from the best in the business, it would also prevent him from suffering through the aforementioned scenario.
