7 Hell In A Cell Bumps You Will Never Forget

Remembering the times when the cell caused a lot of pain.

The WWE Hell in a Cell match is one of the most violent and physical matches in World Wrestling Entertainment. Ever since the first one back in October 1997 between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, the match has been known for providing memorable moments. Thanks to the ominous cell structure that surrounds the ring, a lot of these huge bumps actually involved the cell. It's a case of wrestlers using the environment surrounding them to give the fans something they'll never forget. These are the moments that took place in Hell in a Cell matches that involved the cage also known as the cell outside the ring. These are spots where guys were either thrown off the cell either off the side of it or through it. There have been some spots where guys took moves on the cell and it didn't break, so there will be one of those too. What's worth nothing about the list is that all of the matches mentioned took place between 1997 and 2008. That's not to say the HIAC matches post 2008 were bad. It's just because WWE went PG in 2008, and inevitably toned down a lot of the big spots in those matches. That's probably a good thing for the sake of the performers, but it's not going to put them on a list like this one. Here's a look back at seven Hell in a Cell bumps that we're never going to forget.
