7 Horrible Truths About WWE's Future

7. There Will Be More Walkouts

CM Punk's walkout, although one of the most infamous incidents of employee disgruntlement in WWE history, certainly isn't the first. The hyper-competitive, often contradictory internal world of the WWE leads naturally to a great deal of discontent behind the scenes, with arguments leaking out more than ever thanks to social media. The crucial difference with Punk, however, is the rabid, cult-like following he has further established even after leaving the wrestling world. Other stars within the WWE may look at Punk's example and see the benefit of his actions. His stock is currently at an all-time high, having surprisingly signed to the UFC - an unquestionably lucrative deal. Now that speaking one's mind has been proven to work (at least in the case of a superstar of the magnitude of Punk), some easily-tempted workers may be tempted to follow suit and cause a major headache for the company's top brass.
