For whatever reason, Vince McMahon seems determined to rebrand his company as a slick, cutting-edge sports network as opposed to the wrestling promotion it actually is. Pre-show analysis, an obsession with social media interaction, and a reliance upon a sportscasting style of commentary (just listen to the emerging Byron Saxton) has resulted in a WWE nigh-on unrecognisable from the rough-edged spectacle of the Attitude Era.
