4. It Will Never Be As Shocking Again
When Seth Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to steal the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 31, everybody classed it as a shock. Most people expected Roman Reigns to walk out as the unpopular new champion or - failing that - Lesnar to retain, a just reward for his new contract signing. But was Rollins' cash-in quite the surprise everyone thought? It was a possibility most had actually considered (and admittedly dismissed) in the lead up to the Pay Per View. In comparison to WrestleMania 17's conclusion, which saw Austin align with hated foe Vince to screw the Rock out of the title, it was an avenue many people could see the company taking without having to stretch the limits of possibility too much. In the current age of extensive social media activity, leaked Raw television scripts and betting odds for large events, it's impossible for the WWE to shock us with the same frequency or intensity as it once did.
