7 Improvements The WWE Network Badly Needs

1. An Offline Mode

The aforementioned nerd penning this piece has been yelling about this for years now, and it's a must whenever the updates come into effect.

Currently, the WWE Network offers an always on model. If you're connected to the internet or willing to burn through mobile data willy-nilly, then you've got free rein. Consequently, the Network experiences a lock out when there's no signal or WiFi connection to speak of. This can make lengthy journeys intolerable.

The solution is simple. Netflix and BBC iPlayer give members the option of downloading some shows to the device of their choice when they do have net. Then, when they don't, the files are still available to watch offline for a pre-agreed period of time. Why WWE haven't implemented something like this is anyone's guess.

Being able to download a few pay-per-views, documentaries or TV episodes for consumption in areas with dodgy signal would make bus, plane and train trips more bearable. Plus, it'd encourage people to use the service more, because they'd know WWE have their backs when coverage is minimal.

This. Is. Essential.
