7 Last-Minute AEW: Double Or Nothing 2020 Rumours
1. CM Punk Is The Surprise Entrant
CM Punk is not going to be the surprise entrant at AEW's Casion Ladder match at this weekend's Double or Nothing. I'm incredibly sorry to break that to both you and, naturally, every single person writing that he might be but, sorry, no, he's not.
I could detail to you the arguments behind this, but they don't amount to more than 'an unnamed wrestler is going to be in this match and CM Punk is not signed to WWE'. This is, in essence, the same argument that's made every time there's going to be a mystery entrant in a big match whether it's AEW's various efforts, WWE's Royal Rumble, christ, even WarGames last year had some people suggesting Punk would show up.
There are people out there who'll tell you Mustafa Ali's branding being all over the SmackDown hacker is just a red herring because, really, it's going to be the Voice of the Voiceless. The logic, and more importantly the end result, are always the same. CM Punk might be on the next [high profile wrestling event]!! but he won't be, starting this weekend.
