The feud of the year (so far) adds a third match at this Sunday's Battleground when John Cena defends his United States Championship against former NXT Champion, Kevin Owens. Owens recently lost his title to Finn Balor, so his hunger for Cena's belt is strong.
The most notable elements in this story as of late has been the inclusion of Cesaro and Rusev. Perhaps those men are being readied for when Owens and Cena move onto their next feuds?
Who Needs To Lose: John Cena
WWE has done a phenomenal job with introducing Kevin Owens to the main roster and they should cement his superstar status by winning this feud definitively against John Cena at Battleground. With Cesaro on deck, Owens has a ready-made rival just waiting to make him look good and give him his first few wins as U.S. Champ.

It's hard to bet against John Cena, especially when ratings have been struggling. Cena's U.S. Open Challenge is a guaranteed home run of a segment week in and week out, so WWE shouldn't gamble with a proven winner. Owens will still be able to walk out of this amazing rivalry with several of the best matches of the year under his belt, so he'll be fine.
