7 Mae Young Classic 2018 Wrestlers WWE MUST Sign

2. Kaitlyn

That Kaitlyn did so well in this year's Mae Young Classic was a pleasant surprise.

Though she improved greatly throughout her original WWE tenure, she was never a standout wrestler, despite coming through the system at a time when in-ring standards weren't exactly soaring. She wasn't bad by the end, but she wasn't excellent either - awesome-looking Spear aside - yet Kaitlyn looked great in the MYC, first overcoming the cumbersome Kavita Devi, before going out to the more experienced Mia Yim.

'The Hybrid Diva' worked hard throughout. It was clear she'd taken her return seriously, having worked a number of small-scale independent bouts prior to the tournament, and showed she was still capable of hanging by exhibiting no obvious signs of ring rust. Not bad for a woman who originally retired back in January 2014.

There's definitely a place for someone like Kaitlyn (who still has a considerable following) in today's WWE, but whether or not she'd be up for another full-time is a different matter entirely. Having found an impressive degree of personal success post-WWE, she's likely very content in her retirement and may need a big-money offer to be swayed.
