7 Mae Young Classic 2018 Wrestlers WWE MUST Sign

1. Meiko Satomura

WWE aren't going to sign Meiko Satomura full-time. The Japanese legend is too entrenched in the Joshi scene, and currently runs one of the market leaders (Sendai Girls), so it's extremely unlikely that she'd walk away from it all to work sparsely-attended NXT house shows on the Florida loop. Regardless, WWE should absolutely think about using her on a more consistent basis, because there's nobody quite like Satomura anywhere else in the world.

Built up as a 'Final Boss' figure in Japan (and in this year's MYC), there's no reason she can't play the same role in NXT. WWE could book Meiko like a female Brock Lesnar. Have her work a light schedule, appearing on only a handful of tapings each year, but keep her protected as a force of nature. From there, they can utilise Satomura in big, important, showcase matches against top NXT talent, whether that means plugging her into Women's Title defences, or using Meiko as the last hurdle before a departing star leaves for the main roster.

Widely regarded as the best women's wrestler in the world, if there's a deal to be made with Satomura, WWE would be insane not to make it. She's phenomenal.
