4. AJW Wrestlemarinpiad

Utterly stupendous name aside, AJW's fourth Wrestlemarinpiad is notable for hosting arguably the finest women's match of all time - if not one of the finest of all time, full stop.

Manami Toyota and Kyoko Inoue twisted like spaghetti on a fork for the duration of their 25 minute classic, shifting into shapes even the most elastic of Stretch Armstrongs would reconsider. It was the former's squid-like flexibility which allowed her to impossibly arc Inoue backwards for her innovative Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex and the win.

She didn't just bend her opponent's body, but warped the entire industry in the process. Wrestling - not just women's wrestling - hadn't seen anything quite like it. WWE fans, for the longest time, never would.
