7 Major Dean Ambrose WWE Matches That Totally Disappointed
6. Dean Ambrose Vs. Bray Wyatt (TLC 2014)

Fans were excited at the idea of a Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt feud when Wyatt cost Ambrose his Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins in October 2014, especially the promos they were capable of producing. When they didn't deliver on the stick at first, fans held out hope that their in-ring chemistry would improve in time following their lacklustre affair at Survivor Series, but it never did.
It was a refreshing change of pace for their TLC match to main event the December pay-per-view over John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, but it might have actually hindered the contest in the end. By that point in the evening, fans had already grown numb to WWE's version of the Demolition Derby, and thus nothing seemed to stick. They pulled out a handful of cool spots, but nothing that would be remembered years (let alone months) down the road.
To make matters worse, Ambrose was on the verge of victory when he pulled out a TV monitor from underneath the ring and forgot it was still plugged in. As a result, he electrocuted himself, leading to Wyatt capitalising and scoring the win. It was a flat finish to a dull show and, once again, Ambrose couldn't reign supreme when it mattered most.
