7 Major Mistakes WWE Has Made With Brock Lesnar

3. Special Attraction

Granted, this idea would have cost WWE a lot more, but it might have been a much better use of Brock Lesnar during the past year.

Brock has supposedly been a special attraction for WWE, but the company really dropped the ball with how to use him. Instead of having Lesnar stand behind Paul Heyman while the advocate droned on about how unbeatable he was, they could have done something interesting, like an open challenge here and there. Have a low-level member like Bo Dallas answer the call and get obliterated, but at least have Brock do something other than stand there.

If Brock was supposed to be a special attraction for WWE, then doing something different with him occasionally would have made him feel a little more special. By the time last summer rolled around, you knew exactly what you were getting when Lesnar was advertised: a promo from Heyman while Brock paced. *yawn*

Another wasted opportunity.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
