7 Match Review From WWE House Show In Brighton, UK

7. Sheamus Beat The Miz (With Damien Mizdow) In 8:39

The crowd were hot, given that this was the opening match. Miz got booed whereas his €˜stunt double€™, Mizdow, was cheered loudly. His gimmick is great and he was absolutely hilarious at ringside, re-enacting all of Miz€™s bumps and movements with a one second time delay. Sheamus got a great ovation from the crowd, with a lot of kids clearly being big Sheamus fans. I remember commentating on a few of Sheamus€™s pre-WWE matches here in the UK and he was always a nice guy and an excellent pro, so it€™s fantastic to see him doing so well in the biggest promotion in the world. Sheamus won a largely one-sided match following his patented Brogue Kick. After this match, a video aired of Vince McMahon personally apologising for the indefinite delay of the WWE Network launch in the UK. This video was jeered by many and chants of €œWhere€™s our Network?€ almost drowned out the video itself!
