4. Jey Uso Vs. Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso Vs. Jimmy Uso was an actively bad match: a fitting end to a months-long saga that WWE botched beyond belief from SummerSlam onwards.

The decision to cast Jimmy as a clown was always odd, even though he was somewhat funny in the role, and that idiocy was brought into further focus when the fans were asked to take this interminable and repetitive and totally soulless melodrama seriously as a blood feud. There was so little to this. It was just them two taking it in turns to superkick one another over and over again. They're not even that good at superkicks!

Eventually, Jimmy tried to communicate that he wanted a truce. As ever, he tried too hard. The emoting here was embarrassing and the juxtaposition between the acting and the chants of "We want Dude Wipes!" was inadvertently funny. Imagine going to see Killers of the Flower Moon at your local multiplex and going on like that.

But it's cinema!

The truce thing was a ruse. This led to a near-fall but mercifully, Jey kicked out and swiftly put this inner conflict rubbish out of its misery with an anticlimactic win. This apparent blood feud between brothers with deep emotional heft was an excuse to get fans to chant YEET as often as possible. It wasn't cinema.

It was literally pantomime.
