7 Men The Undertaker Should Have Faced At WrestleMania 31

2. Sting

Undertaker Sting Poor Sting. Poor, poor Sting. For years, fans wanted to see The Undertaker face-off against Sting at WrestleMania. Every year there were rumors that it was finally going to happen. It never did. Taker spent four years involved in matches with HHH and Shawn Michaels, and Sting kept deciding to re-sign with TNA every time his contract ran up. Passing down matches with Ethan Carter and Bully Ray must have been too good to pass up! Now, fans are deprived of a true dream match. The two were big stars in their respective companies during wrestling€™s boom period, but have never faced off (well, besides competing against each other in WCW, when Sting was a rising star and Undertaker was €œMean€ Mark Callous). They are two icons that deserved to have one big match. Now, Sting is finally with WWE, and Undertaker appears to be on the way out. That€™s terrible timing. Sure, Sting vs. Undertaker would have been better a few years ago (or a few decades ago) when both men were more agile, but the visual of them face-to-face just once would have been a true WrestleMania moment.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
