Lesnar's also put in some imperious performances in the world of mixed martial arts. His debut fight, against Min-Soo Kim, is one such example.

With Lesnar not yet signed to the UFC, this match took place in June 2007 on the Dynamite!! USA show for the K-1 kickboxing promotion.

To this day it remains the shortest of all of Lesnar’s MMA fights at just 1:09. It took him less than ten seconds to take Kim down to the mat and, after a vicious flurry of fists to the side of the head, Kim was soon forced to submit.

Admittedly, part of the reason this one was so one-sided was that Kim was in fact a late replacement for his fellow Korean, Choi Hong-man. Choi had been rendered unable to compete after being denied a license just over a week before the fight, prompting Kim to come in at the very last minute.

A Judo silver medallist at the 1996 Olympic games, Kim was something of a veteran, but he was also noticeably smaller than Lesnar and that ultimately proved to be significant.
