1. Alicia Fox Has ANOTHER Secret Admirer

When it was announced that WWE were to capitalise on the critical acclaim generated by the Cruiserweight Classic by introducing a show dedicated to the men who performed in it, a hackneyed, neck-bearded smark caricature closed down his hentai tab, opened a wrestling site message board, and cracked his knuckles.

"Vince will ruin the Cruiserweights by toning down their style and making them act out stupid love triangle storylines," he wrote, a smug smile seeping through his blackened soul. His comment was down-voted. He was, obviously, a troll.

That neck-beard was right. 205 Live is essentially identical to Monday Night RAW, only a third of the length - with the men performing on it fractionally lighter. The Cruiserweight Classic had been rumoured for years before it took place, and it never seemed to make sense. Vince McMahon was never a fan of what he perceived as a reckless style. Moreover, the landscape had changed considerably since he last halfheartedly promoted the division. WWE was no longer the Land of Giants. Finn Bálor might as well have been a Cruiserweight. Even as recently as 2014, he was.

And yet, the CWC was brilliant - unregulated by McMahon, framed in a real sports context, it really was the eclectic showcase it was billed as. 205 Live is its antithesis, gaining early infamy for centring the narrative around a predatory and regressive love triangle between Alicia Fox, Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander. Mercifully, that near-satirical nonsense was abandoned following the emergence of Neville...until this week's episode, in which Alicia Fox was presented with a bouquet of flowers from an unnamed secret admirer.

At some point, Alicia Fox might even become Cruiserweight Champion. That's the sort of comment only a neck-bearded troll would come out with - but he was right once before.
