7 Most Successful WWE Superstars To Ever Step Foot In Hell In A Cell

5. Batista

Batista is the final Superstar with a pair of Hell in a Cell wins to his name. Furthermore, those two wins were his only two appearances in this type of match, giving the Animal a perfect 100% record in Hell in a Cell showdowns. And even more impressively still, both of his victories saw him successfully defend the World Heavyweight Championship. The first was from Vengeance 2005, in what was the culmination of his classic feud with his former mentor Triple H. Having won the big gold belt at WrestleMania 21, their Hell in a Cell meeting would be the Game€™s final chance of a rematch. Putting Batista over was the final step in cementing him as a true top-tier talent in the company. But his second win was arguably an even bigger one, as Batista would defeat The Undertaker two years later at Survivor Series. The only blemish on an otherwise perfect record was the fact that his win over €˜Taker was heavily reliant on some tomfoolery from an interfering Edge. Still, on paper his Hell in a Cell record reads 2-0, with those two wins coming against two bona fide legends in the form of Triple H and The Undertaker€”with the World Heavyweight title on the line no less€”and it doesn€™t get much better than that.
