7 Most Successful WWE Superstars To Ever Step Foot In Hell In A Cell

1. Triple H

But the greatest Hell in a Cell record of all time belongs to the King of Kings, Triple H. He€™s managed the same number of wins as the Deadman did, but with just three defeats to his name in the process, his win/loss ratio is slightly superior to the aforementioned Phenom. Triple H has slain a Hall of Fame class of Cactus Jack, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels, as well as Chris Jericho, the team of Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and the Big Show, and two thirds of the Legacy faction in the form of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Quite the mouthful, really. Furthermore, he€™s the only man to have successfully defended both the WWE and World Championships in separate Hell in a Cell matches, thanks to his successes over Cactus Jack in 2000 and Nash in 2003. Two of his losses have already been covered in this list€”first to Batista in 2005 and then to the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVIII€”with the final defeat arriving at the Armageddon 2000 PPV when Kurt Angle somehow escaped with his title in tow. Such a record will likely re-open the debate as to whether or not the Game has been too well-protected over the course of his WWE days, but if you look back at some of the incredible performances that he€™s delivered inside Hell in a Cell, it€™s hard to argue with the record he boasts. Of course, Undertaker could very well eclipse that record in a few days€™ time when he faces Brock Lesnar, but for the time being at least, Triple H€™s 6-3 record means he remains the most successful WWE Superstar in Hell in a Cell history.
