3. Lex Luger
WWE.comLex Luger often gets a bad rap within the IWC. He is often associated with many other muscle-bound wrestlers that couldn't work to save their lives, but in actuality, while he was never a technician in the ring, he was someone that was able to have really good matches with workers that were capable of "leading" him. While his WWF career might be considered a "dud", with his main event push rising and falling like a poorly-made loaf of bread, he was very successful in his time with the NWA and WCW. He was the WCW World Champion on two occasions. He was the NWA/WCW United States Champion five times, and the WCW Television Champion twice, to go with three reigns as one-half of the Tag Team Champions in WCW and NWA. He is one of only nine men to be a Triple Crown (World, Tag Team, and United States) winner in WCW, and with one of the other men being Chris Benoit, WWE would probably say Luger is one of only eight men to do it. His biggest success in the WWF was being the co-winner of the 1994 Royal Rumble with Bret Hart, as both men went over the top rope and touched the floor at the same time, although replays clearly showed that Luger hit first. Luger was unsuccessful in both of his attempts to win the WWF Title, defeating Yokozuna by countout at SummerSlam 1993 and then losing to Yokozuna by disqualification at WrestleMania 10, but approximately a year as a main event player to go with his impressive run for the NWA and WCW? That's Hall Of Fame-worthy in almost anyone's book.
