One of the most surprising things to come out of Sports Illustrated's report is that Bruce and Conrad won't be shooting the show in a WWE studio. They won't even be in the same place to record it. Instead, they'll be in their respective home offices talking over Skype.

This is breaking new ground for the WWE Network. Beforehand, podcasts signing on to be broadcast via the service, like those by Steve Austin and Chris Jericho, were filmed in-studio by WWE's own camera crew. Indeed, the high-level production quality seen there is something WWE likely find difficult to let go of.

They're doing just that for 'Something Else To Wrestle With'.

Perhaps Prichard and Thompson (probably more so the former) were very clear that they had to do things their way before agreeing to a deal. That's what it looks like, because the thought that Vince McMahon would green-light a show with profanity that's filmed outside the tightly-controlled environment he loves is mind-boggling.
