7 New Directions For WWE After The Greatest Royal Rumble

7. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt As Raw’s Premier Team

Back when Matt Hardy tossed Bray Wyatt into his "Lake Of Reincarnation", could anyone have guessed that they'd replace Sheamus and Cesaro as Raw's top tag-team?

That's exactly what just happened at the Greatest Royal Rumble, because, after beating The Bar, Hardy and his (somehow slightly less odd) pal are the new Raw Tag Champs. They're the ones chosen to rule the division on Monday nights, and whilst that will be partly due to Sheamus/Cesaro moving to SmackDown in the Superstar Shakeup, there must be something more to the story.

WWE must have known the brand move was going to happen a while back, meaning they're fully behind "The Deleters Of Worlds" as their premier tag act on Raw. Expect Hardy and Wyatt to continue trundling along, probably in feuds against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre or the Authors Of Pain, until WWE decide to split them up.

That's surely coming. It's hard to see Matt and Bray becoming the next coming of The Bar long-term.
