7 New WWE Directions After Hell In A Cell 2017

3. Charlotte Flair Winning The Women's Title At Starrcade

Pay attention to the Hell In A Cell build and you'll have noticed a complete turnaround in Charlotte's promos. As Flair discussed making her father proud by becoming SmackDown Women's Champion, Natalya rubbished the notion that emotion had anything to do with it and said she couldn't wait to break Charlotte's heart. Sounds a little like Flair's own 'Ice Queen' character, doesn't it?

There's no doubt that Charlotte is much more effective as a heel. She shouldn't be babyface on SmackDown for long though, because WWE are just killing time before the return of Starrcade. That's why Natalya took the DQ loss at HIAC and held onto the Women's Title. Come 25 November inside a Steel Cage, Charlotte will exact her revenge.

A title change in North Carolina makes the most sense. Ric will likely be there too, so writing Charlotte to win the gold and celebrate with her recuperating daddy would make for a sweet moment. It doesn't exactly make the most sense after Charlotte turned against him before, but it's the narrative WWE want to tell.
