It's pretty easy to see what WWE have in mind for SummerSlam already, and it didn't take a genius to figure out that Randy Orton wasn't beating Jinder Mahal to regain the WWE Title at Money In The Bank. That belt is much more valuable around Jinder's waist, especially when considering who is about to make a grand return on SmackDown in mere weeks.

That's right, everyone can stop booing Roman Reigns for a second and 'embrace the hate', because none other than John Cena is set to make a blue brand comeback on 4 July. Everyone knows where this is headed. The 'American Patriot vs. Foreign Menace' feud practically writes itself.

Away from the main event picture, Money In The Bank set up a kickass rematch from NJPW we never thought we'd see in WWE, debuted some new stars, and established a future rivalry for the SmackDown Women's Title...

7. Possible Miss. MITB Rematch On SmackDown

Carmella James Ellsworth

Wouldn't it be special if we saw a rematch of the women's Money In The Bank match on SmackDown at some point in the near future? That sketchy ending of James Ellsworth doing the honours for Carmella and handing her the briefcase makes it possible too. SmackDown's authority figures can't let the couple get away with such robbery.

Tom Phillips made sure to note during the pay-per-view that Daniel Bryan tweeted out assurances he would be dealing with the situation on Tuesday night. This suggests SmackDown's GM will strip the briefcase from Carmella and force her to try and win it all over again. She wasn't the one to pull it down, after all.

Carmella should still win any rematch though, because her 'underdog trying to prove she belongs' gimmick would benefit from defying the odds all over again. Besides, WWE have already made steps to set up a natural feud between Miss. Fabulous and the reigning Women's Champ.
