3. Jinder Mahal Feuding With John Cena

There's no way that John Cena is returning to do anything other than announce his move to Monday Night Raw or challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title on 4 July. WWE claim Cena is now a free agent following the Superstar Shakeup (which doesn't exactly make sense), but they still may not be able to resist a xenophobic feud.

Think about it: Cena is one World Title win away from breaking Ric Flair's 16-time record, and SummerSlam is only a few months away. Unless WWE have grand designs on Cena winning his 17th in fairytale fashion at next year's WrestleMania, then beating Mahal for the WWE Title at SummerSlam seems like something they'd think about.

All-too-familiar patriotism will be out in force on the SmackDown Independence Day celebrations, and that could play into Cena challenging Jinder for the belt. Everything from Cena's military posing to the 'Old Glory' advertising indicates both men are on a collision course.
