7 Non-AEW Stars That Could Be At All In London

3. Kota Ibushi

Goldberg AEW UK
NJPW

One-half of the uber-popular tag team The Golden Lovers, Kota Ibushi has been on AEW's radar since their inception in 2019 and the Japanese phenomenon finally landed in the promotion this past week. Sort of.

Ibushi has been a free agent since his NJPW contract expired in February and there has been intense speculation where the star will end up. WWE had reportedly shown interest and were keen on the move but Kota's links to AEW through The Elite made it increasingly likely he would sign for the four-year-old company.

In the world's worst-kept secret, Ibushi was confirmed as the fifth man of The Elite for Blood and Guts on July 19. It's surely only a matter of time before Kota does sign a deal with the company but it's important that Tony Khan ties the Japanese superstar down before All In. Ibushi is an electric fighter who often shows insane levels of athleticism, and to miss out on that in the biggest show of the year will be an opportunity Khan can't afford to make.

Whether it's against Konosuke Takeshita, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley or even Kenny Omega himself, Ibushi needs a spot on the Wembley bill.
