7 Original Documentaries That Should Air On WWE Network

6. The Usage Of Celebrities In WWE

Celebrities have been a part of WWE for well over 30 years now. The idea behind using a celebrity is to get more eyeballs on the product and hopefully bring in fans that may not have watched WWE before. The first WrestleMania was all about involving celebrities while some of the others that followed it also included many famous people. It would be nice to see a documentary about some of the celebrities that WWE has involved whether they've been wrestlers or simply guests on Raw or some PPV. We know about what they did on the screen, but what about backstage stories? Hearing insight from people in WWE about what celebrities were good and what ones were clueless could be a very entertaining show. While Mike Tyson's involvement might be a part of the Monday Night War documentary, there are plenty of others that could be mentioned too. What was Floyd Mayweather really like? it seemed like he didn't know if he was supposed to be a heel or a face, so hearing about that would be something new for viewers. It's also something where WWE could promote interviews with these celebrities as they talk about their experiences. It needs to be more than a fluff piece where they talk to their favorites like Maria Menounos or people like that. Talk about the ones they don't like too. A documentary like that could produce some funny stories about celebs that have no idea what they're doing in wrestling too.
