The older Steiner brother never found his way to WWE after they bought WCW. Scott Steiner did about 18 months after the purchase because he was a main eventer in WCW, but Rick was just a role player that WWE chose to not bring in. Part of the reason that Rick didn't get picked up by WWE was because he was in his 40s by that point and really did all the he could do in wrestling. He was never a great talker. His personality as the "Dog Faced Gremlin" was pretty limited for the most part. Rick did go on to wrestle for TNA because they seemed to sign anybody that worked for WCW or WWE because that's what they do. However, it's not like the Steiner Brothers were as impactful there as they were in WCW or even their WWE run together.
