7 Positives From TNA's Destination America Debut

4. New Champions

TNA sure wanted to kick their debut off in a big way, and in a big way they did. At the very start of the show Kurt Angle announced that every single championship would be defended, and you just couldn€™t help but feel like some title changes were about to go down. It kicked off with James Storm and €œThe Monster€ Abyss successfully retaining their Tag Team Championships over the Wolves. Taryn Terrell would also retain her Knockouts Title in a Battle Royal. But when Low Ki and Austin Aries stepped into the ring, you knew you were going to get what made the X-Division great. Aries and Ki went to battle and it was a true back and forth war. Eventually Aries would hit the Brainbuster and become the new X-Division champion. And with the video package that played before the match, you can€™t help but feel like TNA has big plans for the X-Division once again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y3oFmParhc In the main event Bobby Roode would defend his newly won TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley. This was their third encounter and you knew both men would give it everything they had. Roode and Lashley were putting on a great match until we saw MVP, Kenny King, and two masked men make their way down. Some shady things went down and Bobby Lashley became the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Lashley was one of the best TNA champions so seeing him with the gold again was great and you know he has no plans to lose to anybody just yet.
