This is one of those scenarios where it seems like it has no chance of happening, but if you really think about it they could have something here. The reason this idea jumped out at me is because WWE had Michael Cole admit on the air that they were thinking of doing Cena vs. Rusev at WrestleMania, but they decided to move it up to the February Fast Lane PPV instead. That's odd. Why would they do that? Because maybe they have something else planned for Cena at WrestleMania. Enter Daniel Bryan. Their last major match was SummerSlam 2013. Bryan beat Cena clean to win the WWE Title. At the time, Cena needed arm surgery and was out of action for a couple of months, so that's why Bryan won that way. They could always go back to it as a friendly rivalry with Cena saying that it always bugged him that he lost. The Cena plan for WrestleMania still appears to be Rusev. If WWE wanted to go in a different direction, they can go to Cena vs. Bryan, give them 20 minutes and watch them have the best match of the night. There's nothing wrong with that.
