Remember that career altering announcement we were supposed to be getting? Apparently this has been scrapped leaving Daniel without an active storyline.

Or does it?

Wyatt and Bryan have a lot of history already as stated earlier, and could end up creating more. Rather than the typical route of Bryan disbanding from Rowan and distancing himself from the Roman attack, we could see something career-altering after all.

Imagine if Daniel Bryan ends up revealing himself as a sort of Paul Bearer to The Fiend. He could reveal that he is the one controlling the monster; he has taken control of the man formerly known as Bray Wyatt. It doesn’t have to be some magical urn or anything as blatant as that, but a subtle tie in to create the new Undertaker persona would be a welcome bit of nostalgia.

And of course, the ties with Rowan to the Wyatt Family plays well here. Rowan has already dismantled Buddy Murphy for talking. Snitches do get stitches in the WWE, it seems.

But does he help his former puppet master, or has Bryan become the master puppeteer of them all?

Bray could then overcome Bryan, expecting to return to his normal-ish self as the fun loving, muscle man dancing fool. But Bray using his darker side, he may lose the light he has left for good. This will truly sell The Fiend as an Undertaker type of presence - maybe even selling him as a heel once and for all.

And who doesn’t Bryan have a good feud with, anyway? The man is a walking, talking get-people-over machine.
