This would take some very, very careful booking on WWE’s part - something they are not exactly synonymous with at this point. However, if this is a potential match for WrestleMania 36, this could end up having Steve Austin versus The Rock type of potential.

Both men have gotten themselves over (notably, both after ditching the writers) on the strength of their impressive new directions: Kevin Owens becoming Owens 3:16 and Wyatt becoming the “Overtaker” if you will. Because of how over and strong each one is respectively, it seems like they should never come into contact with one another. But for that very reason, it could make for one of the most compelling feuds in recent memory.

This would need a lot of time and feuds in between, but would be well worth the pay off. Owens needs to be built as the top babyface, and Wyatt needs to kill everyone until he starts to feel like a heel rather than a fan favorite. Then they can slowly start a collision course with each other.

This has the potential to be a huge part of the program for 'Mania. And if either one is champion by then it may even be main event worthy. The buzz surrounding each of them now is immeasurable. And if they are booked as they should be in that position, we could be seeing the WWE's top stars for the foreseeable future.
