It’s already been announced that he’ll be facing Randy Orton, but that decision was made prior to Brock’s victory over Hunt. Orton seemed to be a safe option; a fresh opponent whose stock wouldn’t suffer too much if he were to do the honours for Lesnar.

But with Brock’s stock soaring since his UFC win, would the WWE be better off going with something different? Surely a WWE title run would be more fitting, or maybe they should be using this momentum to have Brock put someone over?

Perhaps, but even if Orton remains the opponent, with the pair coming through the ranks together down at OVW, and having never faced off on PPV since, this is a rivalry with a solid story already waiting to be told.
