Beyond that SummerSlam appearance though, Brock’s calendar is looking fairly clear. And with a mouth-watering payday now sitting in his pocket, you’ve got to think he’s already planning to take some more time off.

Brock’s a notoriously private person, and if anything the rigours of promoting the UFC 200 and SummerSlam shows will have only exacerbated his introversion. Now that he’s emphatically scratched that MMA itch—and earned a $2.5 million guarantee in the process—he really doesn't need to further add to his workload anytime in the near future.

While the WWE may want him back for Survivor Series in November or the Royal Rumble in January, don’t expect Brock to be pushing too hard for either date. Not as long as there’s a farm up north in Saskatchewan awaiting his return.

From Brock’s perspective, there’s no need to rush back to the ring at all—whether it be with WWE or UFC.
