7 Potential Next Steps For Brock Lesnar After UFC 200
1. Another WWE Deal?
But with Brock quickly approaching 40, you
have to feel that any UFC participation—be it part-time or full-time—would need
to happen sooner rather than later.
So if we look beyond that, in the very long-term, what else is left for Lesnar? His current WWE deal is a three-year contract and was signed in 2015. That puts the expiration at roughly the time of WrestleMania 34. By then, Brock will be approaching 41—presumably, he’ll be too old to sign a full-time UFC deal, given that he was hesitant to do so back in 2015, but will he want to be tied in to another multi-year WWE deal?
Come 2018, I imagine he’ll have lost count of all the millions he’s earned in his career, so money isn’t going to be an issue. And he’ll likely have achieved every accomplishment that he could ever have hoped to achieve—there aren’t too many left to tick off, after all.
For me, his current WWE deal could well be his last. But with half of that deal still left to run, expect plenty more records to tumble at the XXXL hands of Brock Lesnar.
