7 Potential WWE Network Shows That Are In The Works
2. Superstar Lifestyles Showing Off Talents' Homes And Life Outside Of The Ring
A show like that may work in a 30 minute format, but it may not be appealing to the vast majority of WWE fans. This something they used to do on the "Confidential" show that aired late Saturday nights on Spike TV. They would show the wrestlers outside the ring doing regular things like their favorite sports or hobbies. Is it really that exciting to have John Cena walk around his mansions (he has at least two) telling us about the giant tub he is? He's rich. We know rich people have a lot of stuff we don't have. Those shows like Cribs had some legs to it, but it's not really that popular anymore. Then again, Cena showing off his 15 cars (or however many he has) could add to his heat from the fans that hate him already. Maybe it would be good for storyline purposes! Probably not. Perhaps they show footage from the gym that Cena owns in the Tampa area that a lot of wrestlers work out at. Would that really be an exciting show to watch? No, unless you're a gym aficionado. According to former WWE wrestler Brodus Clay, a lot of the guys in the locker room read comic books and play video games. Would it make great television to see wrestlers doing that sort of thing? Absolutely not. It's not a bad idea. It's just that there might not be enough material to make it an interesting show.
