7 Problems Vince McMahon Won't Admit About WWE

6. It's Out Of Touch

There's no way around it - Vince McMahon is getting old. Even in younger years he often appeared a step or two behind the zeitgeist, relying on the example of younger contemporaries such as Paul Heyman to inspire key changes to fit with the times. Now, with no alternative rival forcing the WWE to stay relevant, it has regressed into old ways once more. Tired gimmicks are re-hashed again and again (the "evil foreigner" trope making yet another big return in the form of Rusev) and the old emphasis on size over talent has become the main story of the road to 'Mania 31 - with inexperienced big man Roman Reigns set to headline at the expense of the ultra-talented, uber-popular Daniel Bryan.
