7 Reasons Asuka Should Be Moving To WWE SmackDown Live

3. James Ellsworth

This one has little to do with the development of storylines and characters, and even less to do with good wrestling matches and the further evolution of women’s professional wrestling. It is difficult to deny that watching Asuka beat up James Ellsworth would be extremely entertaining, to say the least.

In some ways, James Ellsworth is currently playing a role not too dissimilar to that played by Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan for a number of years. When performing as a manager, Heenan was able to get incredible amounts of heat on his charge. The entire crowd was also desperate for the babyface to get to Heenan. Ellsworth will never be on the same level as 'The Brain', but the comparison fits.

Asuka beating the ever-loving tar out of James Ellsworth on a consistent basis would make for extremely entertaining television, and would go a long way to accentuating the indecision faced by Carmella when it comes to cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
