6. He Doesn't Need The Money

Batista's not in a position in his life where he's not concerned about money. As a former WWE main eventer for about five years in the mid to late 2000s he was likely making millions every year during that period. There are some wrestlers that have had money problems over the years because they don't know how to manage things. Some of those guys might have had a divorce with children that they had to pay for by child support, but Batista isn't somebody that we've heard about having problems. Whether he has another match or not again, Batista's financial situation is very strong especially after the success of Guardians of the Galaxy. Whatever he got paid for that film will likely double or triple when they do the sequel, not to mention when he does other films. He has a lot of leverage right now.
