Ziggler could well be retiring this Sunday, and the most reliable source ahead of time could very well have been the Show-Off himself. Sure, wrestlers tweet misinformation all the time, but it must be treated with a certain amount of respect regardless. In November 2015 Ziggler was asked on Twitter how much longer he saw himself wrestling for, to which he replied 'two years'. Could that process have been sped up?

Ziggler has made no secret of his long-term desire to move to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy full time, and this could be happening sooner rather than later. When asked what he saw himself doing in three years time he replied 'L.A. full-time'. Ziggler has lone been performing stand up whilst on the road with WWE, and could well be in a position to take it up full time.

When clutching at straws it is often wise to delve into the subject those straws take. Ziggler has hinted at retirement, this could be his time.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
