7. His Charisma
If there's one defining feature of Kevin Steen's wrestling persona, it's his charisma. The guy has a magnetism that's impossible to teach. Even before he was made ROH World Champion, his matches were dominating shows. And once he dropped the title, turned face and feuded with the S.C.U.M faction, he was stealing the show yet again. And this in a company that's famed for it's high-paced, aggressive wrestling and the focus and respect is has for it's champion. Now, Steen's Ring of Honor character will have to be toned down for the PG environment of the WWE. Of course it will. The antics he was famous for in ROH (berating audience members, spitting, tasting his opponents blood) simply won't be tolerated in WWE, and nor should they. ROH fans cheer or boo who they want; they are notoriously difficult to control. Not for Steen. Steen had every crowd in the palm of his hand. No matter what the circumstances of the match were, if Steen wanted cheers he got them; if he wanted boos he got them. That ability came from a combination of his natural gift for reading a crowd, and his charisma. He was smart enough to read what the crowd wanted, he was charismatic enough to give it to them. That kind of talent will translate to the WWE, whether his character is PG or not.
