7 Reasons Monday's WWE RAW Might Be The Bottom Of The Barrel

7. Brad Maddox (Who?) Gets Fired

It€™s fitting that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are referred to as The Authority, because really, there is no one else with any authority when they€™re around. And since they€™re on Raw constantly, making matches, adding stipulations and ruling the roost, why do you need a general manager? Brad Maddox is almost never seen on television these days. In fact, the very reason for which he got fired never aired on television. Maddox was canned because he allowed Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to serve as guest commentators last week during the Seth Rollins vs. Batista match, evening things up since Triple H was guest ring announcer and Randy Orton was guest timekeeper. The implication was that the Shield beat up Maddox until he acquiesced and allowed them to be at ringside. We never saw this, but it became the entire basis for Maddox getting tombstoned right out of his job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZNlLUwnLWI&index=7&list=PLF0CB8E7B4C77DB61 This just makes no sense whatsoever. The Authority hired and can fire Maddox, but they couldn€™t overrule him on who could be present at ringside? Maddox hasn€™t done anything of consequence in months, gets bullied into doing something, then gets fired and beat up for it. Are we supposed to feel bad for him? Is one heel authority figure abusing another supposed to make us care more? Or is it just a pointless 10 minutes at the beginning of Raw that was utterly wasted?
