7 Reasons Monday's WWE RAW Might Be The Bottom Of The Barrel

6. Bo-lieve That Was A Terrible Debut

One of the vignettes that aired the night after WrestleMania was for a re-debuting Bo Dallas. The announcers decided to ignore the fact that he actually debuted in the Royal Rumble last year and had a few matches on Raw against Wade Barrett €“ as himself. It€™s not like he returned as a new character (like his brother, the former Husky Harris). Regardless, the Raw €œdebut€ flopped hard. It€™s clear Bo is supposed to push people€™s buttons by irritating them with his inspirational messages, over-celebrations and faux-goodwill. But unless the sound wasn€™t working, the crowd was nearly silent. Even JBL, who spent weeks talking about how he was a €œbo-liever,€ could barely register excitement about his debut. Seven weeks of hype and that was what we got? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_PrSWoSTJ8 To be fair, a lot of gimmicks don€™t go over all that well the first time out and take a little while to grow on fans. But Dallas is essentially playing the same character he did in NXT, so it€™s not like he needed to iron out some wrinkles. If this doesn€™t catch on quickly or Bo doesn€™t seriously tweak the character, crickets are going to greet him, or he€™ll get the dreaded €˜X-Pac heat€™ and be booed for his mere presence. Or maybe his brother needs a new member of the Wyatt Family€
