7 Reasons Monday's WWE RAW Might Be The Bottom Of The Barrel
6. Bo-lieve That Was A Terrible Debut
One of the vignettes that aired the night after WrestleMania was for a re-debuting Bo Dallas. The announcers decided to ignore the fact that he actually debuted in the Royal Rumble last year and had a few matches on Raw against Wade Barrett as himself. Its not like he returned as a new character (like his brother, the former Husky Harris). Regardless, the Raw debut flopped hard. Its clear Bo is supposed to push peoples buttons by irritating them with his inspirational messages, over-celebrations and faux-goodwill. But unless the sound wasnt working, the crowd was nearly silent. Even JBL, who spent weeks talking about how he was a bo-liever, could barely register excitement about his debut. Seven weeks of hype and that was what we got? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_PrSWoSTJ8 To be fair, a lot of gimmicks dont go over all that well the first time out and take a little while to grow on fans. But Dallas is essentially playing the same character he did in NXT, so its not like he needed to iron out some wrinkles. If this doesnt catch on quickly or Bo doesnt seriously tweak the character, crickets are going to greet him, or hell get the dreaded X-Pac heat and be booed for his mere presence. Or maybe his brother needs a new member of the Wyatt Family

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
