7 Reasons Why Pro Wrestling Needs A Union Right Now

6. A Union System Would Unify All Of Wrestling Into One Organization

Pro Wrestling Logosa Imagine a WWE where NXT wasn't the only minor league, but due to the wrestlers all being a part of the same wrestler union, WWE could tie in with Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Evolve, Dragon Gate, CMLL and a plethora of other leagues, too. If independently-contracted wrestlers in the world's top professional wrestling organizations decided to unify themselves with union representation, it would behoove the companies they worked for to be united, too. The benefits of WWE being a part of a global talent pool where WWE was at the top, but with the space now existing for set-in-stone relationships with other (now non-competing) companies would be huge. Promoters working with the wrestlers would be able to potentially negotiate for better venues, bigger fees and greater advertising/marketing opportunities. The unification would also allow for the ability for union-connected organizations to benefit from the deeper and wider spread of WWE's training processes and the development of stronger, healthier and more well-rounded performers, too. If the wrestlers create a union, it's to the betterment of the industry overall.
