The unintended benefit of a unionized pro-wrestling industry is that it would create unionized versus non-unionized professional wrestling, which. "Independent" wrestling is a slippery slope insofar as name these days. These are companies who have pay-per-view branded events, as well as in some cases solid relationships set with globally-renowned pro wrestling companies, and sponsorship deals with well-regarded brands, too. Companies that employed union-member performers would theoretically be able to cover the expenses created by the demands the unions would impress upon wrestling promotions.
