7 Reasons Randy Orton Has Nothing Left To Give WWE

1. Hall Of Fame Resume

The number one reason Randy Orton has nothing left to give WWE is the fact that he has accomplished everything there is to do in sports entertainment. He has been Heavyweight Champion of the world on 12 occasions, won the 2009 Royal Rumble match, captured Money in the Bank and was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Wrestler of the Year two straight years (2009 and 10) amongst many others. He has accomplished Triple Crown status for his winning of the world, intercontinental and tag team titles and is a WrestleMania main eventer. With nothing left to do, perhaps other than winning the King of the Ring tournament that has become considerably less important over the years, the likelihood that he shows up to work feeling fulfilled or challenged is low. The Viper is a future Hall of Famer. Nothing he does or doesn't do going forward will affect his place in wrestling history or his legacy as a performer. At this point, it would behoove him to sit back and relax, to take the time necessary to recharge his batteries. Then, and only then, should he contemplate returning to a company he has dominated countless times over.

Erik Beaston is a freelance pro wrestling writer who likes long walks in the park, dandelions and has not quite figured out that this introduction is not for Match.com. He resides in Parts Unknown, where he hosts weekly cookouts with Kane, The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Be jealous.
