7. The Build To Their Eventual Match Would Be Boring
Sting's a charismatic man - that much is never in doubt - and Kane can hold his own pretty well too, but the chemistry between the two just doesn't add up. Despite Sting being a babyface most of his career, and Kane working as a heel, both men have too many similarities in the way they act. Both rely heavily on sheer intimidation to gain an edge over their opponents, something which doesn't bode well if they were to face off against one another. Sting works best when there's a cowardly heel to be afraid of him - a Ric Flair or Eric Bischoff - while Kane's best feuds have been with a plucky babyface brave enough to take him on. The pair simply attempting to intimidate one another would hardy make for compelling television, especially in contrast to the wealth of good talkers WWE has on the card currently. Can you imagine Dean Ambrose and John Cena cutting a promo on one another, both men displaying their widely contrasting personalities, only to be followed by Kane and Sting trading old-school threats?
