This revelation may be quite hard to come to terms with, but the kids WWE are primarily aiming their product at will know Kane as little more than Triple H's scary henchman who once tried to bully John Cena. They're simply not old enough to remember the glory days of the Big Red Machine - hell, most won't even remember the time he was ECW champion for a while. If this is the way Kane is viewed by the young WWE fans, what chance does Sting have of making a good impression? It's a startling fact, but he hasn't appeared on a big wrestling show in fifteen years. While some fans would probably appreciate a Kane vs Sting feud on a nostalgic level, it would hardly be a universally welcomed matchup. Add to this WWE's tendency of pushing legends way too high up the card, and they'd be faced with a situation where they were cramming an upper card rivalry down the throats of a simply uncaring audience - (not that this has stopped them in the past).
