As mentioned on the last page, Kane is a shadow of his former self. He's currently the third most important lapdog in the Authority's stable (behind Rollins and Orton), and a far cry from the monster who used to terrorise the Attitude Era. If the WWE were determined to make Sting's return work, they'd be wise to put him in a feud with somebody who actually matters to the fans. At least this way the younger fans would see him as important. If he's worth Seth Rollins' time, he's probably worth paying attention to. Also, assuming Kane would be booked to lose the feud (surely around a 90% likelihood), would it really do anything to elevate Sting's legacy? Everybody beats Kane these days; it's sad but true.
